To address user needs, I developed a vibrant and energetic brand identity using a warm color palette of oranges and yellows, specifically chosen to stimulate appetite and excitement. The interface prioritizes a clear visual hierarchy, featuring a prominent search bar and intuitive category icons—like burgers, tacos, and pizza—to enable rapid filtering. Each food item is housed in a clean, elevated white card with subtle drop shadows to create depth, ensuring that critical data points like discounted pricing and star ratings are immediately visible to assist with quick decision-making.
Key Features
The user journey is further enhanced through a streamlined product detail flow that emphasizes high-quality imagery and “Flavor Tags” (Cheesy, Spicy, Crispy), providing instant sensory cues that reduce the need for reading long descriptions. This efficiency is supported by smart horizontal filtering and high-impact promotional carousels for deals like “Buy 1 Get 1.” To maximize conversion, I implemented a sticky “Add to Cart” call-to-action on product pages, all while maintaining effortless navigation via a persistent bottom bar that keeps the Home, Favorites, and Cart sections just one tap away.
Project Overview
“FastFood” is a conceptual mobile application designed to streamline the food ordering process while visually stimulating the user’s appetite. The goal was to create a vibrant, user-friendly interface that reduces friction between browsing and checkout.
Design Challenge
Users often face decision fatigue when ordering food. The challenge was to organize a large menu into an easily navigable interface without overwhelming the user, ensuring that promotions and daily specials remain prominent.
