I designed a custom lowercase logotype using rounded, fluid typography to evoke a sense of softness and comfort. The core creative breakthrough was utilizing the double “i” in “MiniMe” to mimic the abstract forms of a parent and child, reinforcing the brand’s family-centered DNA. To ensure the brand felt modern rather than dated, I paired these soft shapes with a clean, minimalist layout for collateral, allowing the bold colors and playful messaging to stand out against neutral, high-quality materials.
Key Features
The MiniMe brand system is anchored by a vibrant four-color palette—pink, yellow, blue, and orange—symbolizing energy, happiness, creativity, and comfort. A key feature of the identity is its adaptable logo suite, which includes multi-colored and solid-tone variations to ensure consistency across diverse touchpoints like woven neck labels, hangtags, and eco-friendly mailers. The typography-led design extends into a cohesive packaging system that uses friendly, large-scale messaging (“Thanks for ordering”) to create a memorable unboxing experience. Every element, from the lowercase styling to the sustainable material choices, was selected to make the brand feel approachable, ethical, and child-friendly.
Project Overview
MiniMe is a children’s clothing brand dedicated to celebrating “every little moment” of childhood. The goal of this project was to develop a warm, vibrant, and trustworthy brand identity that resonates with both parents and children. By utilizing soft, organic shapes and a diverse color palette, I established a visual language that positions the brand as a joyful, modern, and inclusive staple in the family lifestyle market.
Design Challenge
The primary challenge was to create a brand that felt professional and reliable while maintaining a fun, childlike spirit. The identity needed to be versatile enough to work across high-quality fabric tags, sustainable packaging, and digital platforms. Additionally, I had to ensure the logo remained recognizable and emotionally resonant even when reduced to small scales for labels or simplified for monochromatic printing.
