Elevating a Rising Star
The Solution
I developed a “Vibrant Performance” aesthetic that utilized a bold red-and-purple color palette, mirroring the stage lights and energy of the live show. By combining professional photography with modern typography and neon glow effects, I created a “hero” persona for the artist. To solve the information challenge, I integrated voting details directly into the design hierarchy, ensuring that the Vote No. 04 was always the most prominent secondary element after the artist’s portrait.
Key Features
To create a cohesive brand presence, I developed a dynamic visual identity that utilizes high-contrast lighting, hexagonal patterns, and neon glow effects to replicate a professional “live-show” atmosphere. Central to the campaign was a strategic hierarchy that prioritized clear call-to-actions, such as “TVT (Space) 4 to 7788,” ensuring that voting instructions remained prominent and effortless for fans during live broadcasts. I also focused on multi-platform optimization by designing a suite of assets ranging from Instagram feed posts to mobile-first mockups, maintaining strict brand consistency across all devices. Finally, I utilized bilingual communication by integrating both English and Sinhala typography, allowing the campaign to effectively reach and engage a broad national demographic.
Project Overview
This project involved creating a comprehensive social media identity and promotional campaign for Sasindu Raveen, a finalist on The Voice Teens Season 2. The goal was to build a powerful, energetic visual brand that would resonate with a massive television audience and drive fan engagement across Instagram and Facebook. By leveraging high-energy graphics and clear voting instructions, the campaign aimed to convert viewers into active voters.
Design Challenge
In a high-stakes competition like The Voice Teens, the digital landscape is crowded with contestants vying for attention. The challenge was to create a distinct visual language for Sasindu that felt both “superstar-level” and accessible. Additionally, the designs had to clearly communicate critical technical information—such as Vote Number 04 and SMS instructions—without compromising the artistic quality of the promotional images.
